What is a metric?

A metric is a measurable data point that helps a business understand performance and set goals for success. It’s essentially the same as a KPI (key performance indicator), such as ‘number of website visitors,’ ‘average customer success rating,’ or ‘total dollar amount in the sales pipeline.’

How is BlinkMetrics pricing determined?

The cost to run BlinkMetrics includes connecting to, transforming, storing, and refreshing your data. More data storage + more frequent refreshes = a higher cost for us. This is why we charge based on the number of tracked metrics and the frequency of data refreshes rather than charging per user. Once your data is being displayed, we don’t care how many chairs you pull into the conference room to look at it. 

What are the benefits of direct BigQuery access?

BigQuery access gives your team a direct line to your private, professional-grade data warehouse (something our competitors haven’t built and can’t offer). This allows our customers to plug directly into the BlinkMetrics ‘engine’ to pull data that can fuel dashboards in Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, etc. with ease. 

What is full, on-demand data sync?

An on-demand data sync pulls a fresh batch of data from the warehouse instantly. This feature is very useful for time-critical analysis and decision-making, when you don’t have time to wait for the next scheduled refresh.

Does my BlinkMetrics subscription include Looker, Power BI, or Tableau?

While your subscription to BlinkMetrics does not include custom dashboards on other platforms, we are more than happy to custom build them for you or work with your team to get these going. Check out some options here

What if I use a platform that you haven’t yet integrated?

While we have already integrated most of the most popular platforms, we understand that some businesses like to do their business in unique ways. If you use a platform that isn’t already integrated, you can submit an integration request at any time. 

What do you talk about in consultation meetings?

We offer consultation meetings to help ensure you are using BlinkMetrics to its full potential. You can also use these meetings to ask technical questions about other tools and platforms – whatever has the most value for you! (Consultation meetings aren’t mandatory.)

What are priority integration requests?

While all customers can suggest integrations at any time, those coming from customers at higher subscription tiers are pushed to the top of the list faster.
